How to approach angles using geometrical properties — open the study guide

Angle rules on IGCSE 0580

  • Angles on a straight line add to 180°; round a point 360°.
  • Parallel lines: alternate, corresponding, co-interior.
  • Sum of interior angles of an n-gon = (n − 2) × 180°.
  • Circle theorems (Extended): centre angle = 2 × circumference; semicircle = 90°.
